Web Design: Moving Forward
I designed and built this website for a fictitious health advocacy organization to develop my skills in creating non-profit and corporate sites that integrate appropriate color, design and layout.
I researched depression assistance websites, created a hierarchy for the site and designed it using relaxing, yet uplifting colors.
In building the site, I used PHP and JQuery for the first time — PHP for the form in the footer and JQuery for the image slideshow on the homepage and a drop-down menu at the top of every page.
