Print Design: Stop Animal Testing Postcards
For these postcards opposing animal testing, I utilized two rhetorical devices and a stark color scheme of black, white and red to increase the effectiveness of the design.
I used hyperbole for the first postcard (as rhesus monkeys are commonly used in laboratory testing but aren't endangered), and I loosely modeled the card after old "Wanted" posters.
I employed amplification for the second postcard, repeating the basic message with attention drawn to one intersection that creates a Red Cross-like symbol.
